I am Takumi Sumiyoshi. I am first grader of Katsushika ward junior high school.
趣味は本を読むこと、特に歴史や地理が好きです。中学生になったので、世界にも目を向けて、英会話や新しい事にどんどんチャレンジしています。
My hobby is reading book, especially I like history and geography books. I become a junior high school student, so I am turning my attention to the worldwide and am challenging English conversation and a new thing one after another.
「平和」は、人類が生きていく上でとても大切で、全ての事柄に繋がるワードです。人や動物、生きものや植物、地球に住んでいるみんなが安心できる環境をつくることで、世界中が笑顔で溢れていくと思います。
The peace is important as long as the human race live and it is the word which connect to all matters. I believe that all over the world is being full of smiling face by making the environment that people, animals, creatures, plants, and everyone who lives in the earth can be relieved.

So, I propose for it!
僕は、おとな達が地域や国、世界でやっている会議と同じレベルで、こども会議を作ります。こども区議会議員、こども都議会、こども議員や日本の代表であるこども首相がいて、日々のこども達の事をこども達が主体的に考える。こども達の生活や未来は、こども達でつくる。世界各国でも同じことを行なえば、こどもの国際会議を開くことができる。各国のこども達が色んな意見を発表しあい、明るい未来を話し合い、つくり上げていくための、「こども国際連合組織」を発足しよう。
I will make child meeting with the same level as the meeting adults are doing at area, country, and the world. There is child ward council member, child metropolitan assembly member, child national diet member and child prime minister who represent the Japan there and children consider proactively about children. Children are making their life and future with themselves. When even all the countries can do the same way, it is possible to hold child’s international conference. Let us start “The child UN organization” to discuss various opinions each other and create the bright future up with all children around the world.
世界各国のこども達が交流しながら成長し、その国々のこども達の問題を知り助け合っていくことで、深い信頼関係が生まれます。そして、１０年後にはこども達も立派なおとなになり、これまで築いてきた繋がりと広い視野で友好的な外交を行え、世界中の仲間とともに新しい世代をリードもしていけると思うのです。
I believe that we will be able to build deep mutual trust and relationship if children of all the countries grow up while interacting and know children’s problem in the countries and help each other. And ten years later, we will be an adult, too. We’d be able to do friendly diplomacy when there are relation built up to that and wide view. I’m sure that we will be able to lead new generation with our colleagues all over the world.
世界中がこども時代から繋がれば、大好きな友達を傷つけることはしない。友達から何かを奪いたいとも思わない。一緒に何ができるかを考え、お互いの未来にとって良いものを一緒につくっていくための行動がみんなでできる。国と国という境はなくなり、１つしかない地球を守り大切にできる家族のような関係を築けます。
Nobody hurt treasured friends, if children of all over the world can be a friend from the child age. Nobody would like to take anything away from important friends. We would think what we can together. We would be possible to begin the behavior to create the great mutual future together. There will be no border between a country and a country, and we built great relationship like the family who protects the earth.
こう思ったきっかけは、マリンチルドレンクラブが海外と繋がることの大切さを教えてくれ、世界の子供たちとの交流をサポートしてくれているからです。クラブでは、こども達が活動の中心となり、自分たちのやりたいプロジェクトを立ち上げて主体的に活動をしています。毎週のこどもミーティングでは、プロジェクトや活動するための内容、勉強会の計画などを、下は幼児から異年齢で話し合っています。僕は中学生なので、司会進行や中心となって話すことが多いですが、年下の子達の意見や発表も素晴らしく、毎回学びにも繋がっています。この経験を通して、こどもでも色んなアイディアを出し合えば、周りを巻き込んで繋がっていき、何でも挑戦していけるという事を学びました。
The reason I stated to think because Marine children club is supporting exchange with foreign countries and tell me the importance of relationship. At that club, children start-up own projects which we would like to do and taking initiative action. We are discussing a project, the contents to come into action and a plan of a study group with the different age at every week child meeting. I am one of elder member of its club, so I often take the initiative in leading a meeting as chairman. However, opinions and announcements of younger member prove helpful to me a lot. Through this experience, I learned that we could challenge everything when we get involved and connect each other and share various ideas.
こどもたちへのメッセージです。皆でやれば何でもできる。世界の仲間と繋がって、みんなで平和な未来をつくっていきましょう。
This is a message to all children. We can do anything if we all do it together! Let us make a peaceful future with everyone all over the world together.
