● Hitomi Hisamatsu (16 years old, Japan)

Create an educational platform so that all people can receive equal education

My idea of peace is that each and every person has an equal opportunity to receive an education. In order to achieve this, I think what is necessary is to set up an educational platform that can be accessed by anyone as long as they have a device.
I hope that we can create a society where children from all backgrounds have equal access to education so that they can become the people they want to be.

● Honoa Tojo (11 years old, Japan)

 Concluding Remarks by the Organizers

We have decided to hold the 2nd Children’s World Peace Summit because we believe that the realization of world peace is an urgent and most important issue for the Earth. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who attended the event.

I would like to thank all the parents, school staff, and supporters who supported the children’s participation, each and every one of you for your noble support.

When I was 10 years old, I was involved in a traffic accident that left me in a life-and-death situation, but I survived. From this experience, I asked myself the question, “What kind of life can I lead to contribute to society? As an answer to this question, at the age of fifteen, I started activities to convey the importance of peace in my hometown of Hiroshima.

Together with my colleagues, we are working hard to hold the “Children’s World Peace Summit” at the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo, where we will present our ideas for creating peace with 100 million children from 100 countries around the world.

Today, 15 “Children’s Representatives” representing more than 200 children from 11 countries around the world will present their ideas for achieving world peace.

We would be honored if you could join us and think of your ideas for achieving world peace, and if it would be an opportunity for us to take steps toward achieving it. Thank you very much for your support.
