Fujisaki Ichiro / Former diplomat
He is the President of the America-Japan Society, Inc., Chancellor of Kitakamakura Girls’ School. In 1969, he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He served as Director General for North American Affairs, Deputy Foreign Minister, and Ambassador to the UN and WTO in Geneva and Ambassador to the United States. He had been a Professor of Sophia University and Keio University.
Norio Sasaki / Member of Executive Committee and Chairperson of the JFA women's committee
Born in Yamagata Prefecture in 1958.
After graduating from Teikyo Senior High School and Meiji University, he played for NTT Kanto Football Club.
After retiring, he worked as a coach and manager, and in 2007 was appointed manager of Nadeshiko Japan (Japan’s women’s national team), leading Japan to its first world championship at the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup, among many other accomplishments.
In recognition of these achievements, he has received numerous awards, including the National Honor Award and the Medal with Purple Ribbon. He is currently a member of the board of directors of the Japan Football Association as the chairperson of the Women’s Committee, he is also active in fostering future generations in various capacities, including Vice President of Jumonji University.
He is the author of “Now Nadeshiko power”, “Nadeshiko power: Next”, and “Organization to win”.
George Kunihiro / Architect
Architect and professor at Kokushikan University. Visiting professor at Tsinghua University, China, and Kyoto University of Art and Design. Specially invited professor at Meiji University. Moved to the USA in 1964, graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed graduate studies at Harvard Graduate School of Design. At the same university, he studied under Professor Joseph Zalewski, a pupil of Le Corbusier, a master of modern architecture, among others. In 1982, he founded George Kunihiro Architect in Los Angeles. He then moved to New York in 1987, where he has worked on numerous projects in Japan and the USA. At the same time, together with architect Tadao Ando, he has taught at prestigious schools such as Yale University, Columbia University and Harvard University, contributing to the training of the next generation of architects. In 1997, he moved his base of activities to Tokyo and began designing and conducting research in the Asian region. He has visited more than 70 countries, lectured on architectural culture and served on international competition juries in Japan and abroad. 2011-2012: President of the Asian Council of Architects and Associates (ARCASIA), an association of Asian architectural associations. He is a fellow of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Japan Institute of Architects (JIA).
Masanori Kanda / Management Consultant / Educational Entrepreneur
He is the author of more than 100 books in the fields of management and education and is known as a business influencer in Japan.
He has been promoting digital marketing since the early days of the Internet and was named “Japan’s Top Marketer” by a general magazine for his contribution to the democratization of marketing. As an educational entrepreneur, he has established an important milestone in the field of education.
He has brought a new dimension to the way of learning by introducing “mind mapping” into public education, developing and popularizing “Read for Action,” a reading group that does not read using multiple intelligences theory, and “Future Mapping,” a creative problem-solving method based on backward thinking.
His innovative approach has inspired many organizations and individuals, and many economic and social leaders are working with him to realize new visions.
Dominique Corby / Chef
Born in Paris in 1965, he started his culinary career at the age of 15.
He was sous-chef at La Tour d’Argent in Paris and then head chef at the same restaurant in Hotel New Otani, Tokyo, before opening LE MIYABI in the Paris suburbs in 2008, followed by French kappou Dominique Corby in Yotsuya in 2015, Shinbashi in 2019 and Minami Aoyama in 2023.
He has been awarded the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Métiers d’Etudes Agricoles de France and is actively involved in food education activities and support for disaster-affected areas. As vice-president of the Japanese branch of the Académie Française de Cuisine, he is also committed to the promotion and development of French cuisine in Japan.
