Spreading the "Itadakimasu Zukan” to help people feel invisible life.

What is peace for you?

A society in which people around the world become aware of and appreciate the invisible life of others.

Spreading the "Itadakimasu Zukan” to help people feel invisible life.

My aspiration is
“To create a society in which people around the world can appreciate things and people, and cherish each and every day.
I believe that realizing this aspiration is the path to world peace.
I believe that realizing this aspiration is the path to world peace.

What do you say before you eat?

I say

Itadakimasu!

Itadakimasu” means “Itadakimasu” in Japanese, meaning “I will take life.
It is a way of expressing our gratitude for the blessings of nature and to feel the accumulation of the hard work of many people.

If all the people in the world could become aware of and appreciate the invisible “life,” we would be able to solve environmental problems, human rights issues, poverty issues, and other problems.
I believe that environmental problems, human rights issues, and poverty issues will disappear.

In order to help people feel this invisible “life,” I have created the “Itadakimasu Zukan” (Itadakimasu Illustrated Book).
I created “Itadakimasu Zukan (Itadakimasu Illustrated Book)”.

I realized that a lot of lives and a lot of labors are piled up before a dish is served on the table. It is the same for things other than food. I realized that this world is made up of a lot of work, and that we are alive thanks to a lot of “work” that we cannot see. To all of you who work every day! Thank you so much.

There have been days when I have been somewhat absentminded and unappreciative. I think I was only thinking about myself and looking only at the present.

However, by being aware of “Itadakimasu no Kokoro,” I have come to feel that I have inherited many lives and the “thoughts” of many people, and that I am now alive. In other words, I realized that my time is not only my time. My time is the time of all the lives I have eaten and the time of those who have taken care of me.

It is up to me to decide how to use that precious time.
You are free to waste it or use it effectively.

I want to spread the “Itadakimasu no Kokoro” throughout Japan and the world!
If we do this, I believe that people around the world will be able to appreciate things and people, and cherish each and every day more. If we can notice the small things we are thankful for, we will be able to accept even negative comments in a positive way, we will be able to think about other people’s feelings, and we will be able to understand the feelings of things that do not speak.

Why don’t you join us in creating “Itadakimasu Zukan (Itadakimasu Illustrated Book)”?

I want to make the world peaceful with “Itadakimasu no Kokoro”!

This concludes my presentation. Thank you very much.
