Thank you very much for your application for the 4th Children’s World Peace Summit,
supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
We received many applications from young people in 20 countries around the world, and today we have completed the process of selecting the representatives from among those who applied for the Children’s World Peace Summit.
First of all, thank you for your interest in the Summit and for submitting your passionate ideas. We sincerely appreciate it.
We hope you will understand that this decision was made by the Selection Committee, which dealt fairly and impartially with all applicants and was forced to choose from a limited number of slots, making it very difficult to select from among so many excellent candidates.
As the final selection decision, we selected in order from the entries received on April 1.
We selected from among those whose speeches include “what is world peace” and “ideas for creating peace” as stated in the application guideline, those whose speeches speak of their dreams for the future, and those whose speeches are based on their own experiences and concrete ideas to create peace with enthusiasm.
The ideas submitted were truly concrete and wonderful ideas, and we would like to once again express our deepest gratitude to all of you for taking the time to submit your ideas for the 4th Children’s World Peace Summit, and for your peace-creating ideas.
In closing, I would like to express my gratitude for your application and sincerely hope that you will be very active in your future activities.
We wish you continued success in your efforts to achieve world peace.
