Peace is the future of our children that we all nurture.”
2340
This is my birth weight.
2340g
A baby born weighing less than 2500g is called a “low birth weight baby.
I am now in the sixth grade, thanks to the care I received immediately after birth in a small box called an “incubator” at the hospital.
I am almost the same height as my younger sister, who is two years younger than me.
I try to eat a lot of food that my mother cooks for me because it is frustrating to be mistaken for a twin sometimes.
In Japan, many children can be born small like me and still live a healthy life.
I think this is because Japan is blessed with a good medical system, including hospitals.
According to UNICEF, 80% of the 2.5 million newborns who die each year in the world are low birthweight babies.
I was born small, but I am alive. But there are lives that die even though they were born into this world.
Not all countries and regions in the world have a well-developed medical system.
It is called “medical disparity.
There are various disparities in the world, also called “disparities in society,” which have a great impact on the lives of children and their educational environment.
I want to eliminate these disparities from the world.
What I propose is a “Children’s Passport” that only children around the world can have.
The Children’s Passport is a passport that any child can have, allowing them to travel freely to any country or region of their choice.
This is a mechanism to nurture and connect the unlimited potential of children to the future, transcending national and racial boundaries.
The unique feature of this passport is that it supports the growth of children not only in one country or region, but throughout the world.
I believe that if the whole world cooperates with each other in various situations, fewer precious lives will be lost. And I believe that the future will have many more bright smiles.
The possibilities for the human race will also expand.
Let’s work together for a brighter future.
Let’s work together so that everyone can live each day with a smile on their face.
Peace is the future of our children that we all nurture together.
