Rytis Baltrusaitis

Hello, my name is Rytis. I am in the third grade. My school is Kaunas Panemune Primary School.
My dad is a soldier and he says that peace is when there is no war. My mom is a lawyer and she says that peace is when agreements are respected. I think peace is when nobody is angry, everybody is friends with each other. For there to be peace in the world we have to see each other as our friends. After all, we always help our friends, we don’t get angry with them. A Lithuanian proverb says: „You will never know a friend by accident“. To make friends we need to get to know each other, to know and understand what is important to the other and why; tell our own story and hear the other’s; respect each other’s differences. And above all, agree on a common goal.
