Ideas for creating peace were solicited from children around the world.
Over 141 applications were received from 14 countries (Japan, USA, El Salvador, Sri Lanka, Thailand, China, France, Brazil, Bulgaria, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Laos, Lithuania), and 11 child representatives were selected from among them to give a speech at the International Conference Hall of the House of Representatives.
