Provide opportunities to think about happiness by "sharing happiness.

What is peace for you?

A world where all people can live happily and with a smile

The "#share my happiness" movement is a social networking service that allows people to share what makes them happy and what makes them happy.

My idea of a peaceful world is “a world where all people can live happily and with a smile. And I am here today to “share happiness” with you all.

Since I joined the Model United Nations club in junior high school, I have learned that there are various international problems in the world that need to be solved, such as nuclear issues, poverty, and gender issues, and that many people are engaged in various activities to solve these problems. However, even though these activities are being carried out and international problems are being solved, the level of happiness of people around the world, as indicated by life satisfaction, has not increased. Therefore, I have come to think not only about solving international problems, but also about happiness, and through activities for happiness, I would like to realize my vision of a peaceful world, a world where all people can live happily and with smiles on their faces.

Here, I have a question for all of you. What does happiness mean to you? Have you ever thought about this? I myself had never thought about it before and was ignorant about happiness. And although we often hear the word “happiness” in our daily lives, I felt that there are not many opportunities to actually think about happiness properly. Therefore, in order to provide opportunities for more people to think about and know about happiness, I founded the student organization Sachi, whose motto is “Sharing Happiness”. In our recent activities, we held an exhibition on happiness in the United Nations University. One of the exhibits was to ask visitors to write on a piece of paper when they felt happy, and to compile them into a single piece of paper to share your happy moments with others. I wrote that it was when I was listening to music, but some of the visitors had various happy moments, such as when they were reading a book or playing soccer. Through this, I was able to learn about various kinds of happiness, which made me happy and joyful, and in the survey of those who came, some of them said that they felt happy as well.

Therefore, the activity I would like to propose is the “#share my happiness” movement. This movement is to provide an opportunity for people of all nationalities, ages, genders, and races to think about happiness by sharing what and when they feel happy, in other words, “sharing happiness” through social networking sites such as Instagram, where people can easily participate and connect with each other across the world. In addition, recent studies have shown that connecting with others, exchanging opinions, and interacting with others contributes to happiness. Through this “#share my happiness” movement, I hope that as many people as possible will feel happier. To be happy, it is important to connect with others. I hope you will take this opportunity to think about happiness and share it with others, in other words, “share your happiness” with others.

I will try to “share happiness” through various activities.
