Ms. Naoko Yamazaki, an astronaut, gave us a message of support for the Children’s World Peace Summit.

Hello everyone.
I am Naoko Yamazaki, an astronaut.

At the Children’s World Peace Summit, we welcome your message for peace.
“What is peace? What do I think about peace?”
I would like you to tell and hear to each other, with all the same teens around the world.
I think the first step is to share each other’s thoughts.

When I stayed at the International Space Station in 2010, I brought a paper crane, which is also a symbol of peace.

When I looked at the earth from the window with the Americans and Russians and surrounded the dining table together, I strongly hoped that everywhere on earth would be peaceful.

I look forward to this Summit being held in space someday when you grow up.
